This workshop is for you if…

You don't know how to use Manual mode on your camera

Do you currently own a DSLR, but only shoot in auto mode…or maybe you get adventurous and use picture or shutter priority mode? Let's get you off the mode dependency and learning to tell your camera who's boss.

You are not sure why your images appear blurry (unintentionally)

In order to create images that are intentionally out of focus in a cool artistic way, you first need to learn how to get them in focus. Learn how to control the blur, camera shake, and focus.

you want to take your photos from snapshots to images that create connection

PS: A DSLR is not required for this course. Don't tell anyone BUT some of the  professional photos I have shared were actually taken with my cell phone. Once you know what to do create purposeful images with the tools you have, the sky is the limit.

Tara Reiners

visual artist & Storytelher

Tara has been photographing professionally for the last 12 years. Initially she did what you are considering right now. She took an introductory camera workshop, photographed her kids and anything that inspired her, and then she never looked back.

Eleven of her twelve years as a photographer have been focused on empowering women via her camera, self-awareness, and education. She believes that when we show up vulnerably and connect with ourselves (even the shadows), we can truly step into our power and take control of writing one heck of a story as we step forward into our tomorrow.
